What We Offer

I realize it's been almost a month since I have posted an entry on my blog. Furiously working between both my jobs and trying to put together a social media presentation that is basically a 101 into the idea and how someone (anyone) can benefit from it. I add to it as I go. Such as today, I learned how to embed a presentation I created for Advertising Vehicles into my LinkedIn, Facebook, and my blog. Having learned this, that's obviously what this entry is going to do...show you this quick overview of the company I work for and the solutions we offer companies local and nationwide! Check it out...keep me in mind! :)

A True Community Effort

As a second job, I spend 10-15 hours a week delivering pizzas for a local Papa Johns. While on a delivery I noticed a box truck that was wrapped, so I pulled into the parking lot to get a better look at the vehicle. When I pulled up next to it (on the side not facing the road), I realized that an entire panel of the wrap was missing. DING! I need to call The Canning Team to see if they need help replacing the panel that was missing. When I finally was able to get in touch with Tom, he informed me that he had everything in line to get the panel replaced already, and proceeded to tell me that it was an extreme pain in the butt getting everything organized! (It doesn't have to be...) We agreed that it would be a good idea for us to sit down and talk a little business at a later date.

This later date would happen to be the following Monday (MLK Day). After talking with Tom and meeting his daughter Julie, I learned a great deal about what it is they do, and I was able to share Advertising Vehicle's story with them. The Canning Team is a 3 generation real estate family that knows what they are doing! Not only are they professional and buttoned-up in every aspect of the real estate process, but they are also big players in the community. During our meeting I mentioned to Tom what a great idea it was to not only wrap their box truck (because everywhere it goes, even when it's not being used, it's branding The Canning Team), but also to let people who use them as their agent move their belongings locally for only the cost of gas! The story got better when he interrupted...Tom told me that they let ANYONE use it! Family, Friends, Clients, or even the neighbor of the neighbor who knows the local bartender (anyone!). He felt a need to give back to the community that had given, and continues to give his family of realtors the life they lead today! They have my recommendation...Check them out at http://www.thecanningteam.com/.

To Clarify

Why do I think the video in my previous post is so genius? Because Michael gets it. He gets what a lot of people don't! The times have changed. Technology has changed. As a result, the way people get their media has changed...but not everyone realizes this or is adapting their marketing scheme to assure that their message is reaching their target market. The digital video recorder (DVR and TIVOs) has had the greatest impact, allowing people to watch TV without watching the commercials..life is great! Knowing this, advertisers should either look to other forms of media to place their ads OR find new ways to work around technology's fragmentation frustration.
